Patches Pal Special Plate
Design for official Washington State Patches Pal special plate benefitting Seattle Children's cancer immunotherapy research. I was part of a committee that also raised the necessary start-up costs and gathered the required 3,500 signatures to be considered by the Department of Licensing. We then found a legislative sponsor to craft a bill to be voted on in the state legislature. The bill was signed by Governor Jay Inslee on Wednesday March 30th, 2022. Plates became available to order on October 1st, 2022.
Additionally, I organized an online auction for 20 low numbered plates that raised $20,000 for Seattle Children's.
